GLOBAL DANCE OF THE MOON EVENT

Myself, my team and our global community are hosting the “Global Dance of the Moon” event on Friday, June 19 at 4PM EDT live on the Spirit Voyage Youtube Channel. This event will be a celebration of community and we invite you to join us to hear a special acoustic version of the song, to partake in a live DJ set from Sophie Sôfree, and to play, dance, and howl under the light of the moon, from wherever you are in the world!

BLACK LIVES MATTER

We stand in firm support of the movement for justice and equality for Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) in the United States and around the world, and in honor of the historical holiday of Juneteenth, the celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the USA, we are directing donations from this Global dance event to Black Girl Magik, an organization and global movement “creating safe spaces for Black women and girls (both gen-z and millenials) to voice, listen and encourage each other with unconditional vulnerability and honest acceptance.”

BLACK GIRL MAGIK MISSION:

“We are designing safe spaces that get people talking about real issues, such as mental health and self-identity and lead community building “workouts” that nurture courageous self-acceptance. As a community, we dismantle limitations, challenge stigmas and lift each other higher. Together, we are transforming the world for Black women and girls.”
